This vintage ring from the 1960s is a wonderful example of traditional Native American jewelry! The ring is handcrafted in sterling silver and features a large turquoise stone at the center. The natural turquoise stone has a stunning robin's egg blue color, which is flecked with natural inclusions known as "matrix." A twisted rope pattern and beaded details surround the bezel setting, and a thick shank at the shoulders completes the design. A darkened natural patina within the grooves of the silver gives an antiqued look to the piece. When worn, it makes a striking statement piece that would delight any turquoise lover or collector of Native American jewelry!
Measurements: The ring has an approximate finger size 8, but it could be resized if desired. The turquoise centerpiece measures 1 1/4" tall, 3/4" wide, and 1/2" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the turquoise stone, which is intact and securely set. The darkened patina is normal and adds depth to the design.
