Vintage Sterling Silver and Malachite Alligator Bangle

A fabulous vintage alligator bracelet! Crafted in sterling silver, this substantial cuff style bracelet displays a unique and stylish reptile design. The body of the alligator is decorated with three-dimensional scales, which add great detail to the creature. The four limbs of the alligator slightly extend off of the bangle, and make the alligator seem as if it is in motion. Two bezel-set malachite stones are used to depict the deep green eyes of the alligator. The curved tail of the alligator creates the second half of the bangle, which opens and closes with a hidden hinge. The inside of the bracelet is stamped "Taxco Zncllo S", "950", and "Mexico". A unique piece, this bangle would make the perfect gift for any animal lover!

Measurements: The inside of the cuff bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and about 2" tall, and would fit nicely on an average to medium sized wrist.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. Both malachite eyes are intact and secure. The hinge of the bracelet is secure and in working condition.
