Vintage 18kt Gold Ruby & Diamond Globe Charm Pendant

A wonderful vintage gold charm pendant from the 1950's! This fabulous piece, which is particularly large in size, is made of 18kt yellow gold and depicts a replica of the world. Grid-like etched lines fill the ocean and the 7 continents are raised with a textured surface. There are 10 small rubies and 1 diamond used to mark specific locations on the globe, most likely marking locations that the owner had traveled to. The piece hangs from a simple gold bail which is stamped "18K". A beautiful piece, this would make a wonderful addition to any world traveler's collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/2" long. The globe measures 1 1/4" tall and wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and the rubies and diamond are intact.
