A fantastic pair of vintage cufflinks from the 1960s! Made of 14kt yellow gold, each cufflink features a large flay piece of mother of pearl in an octagonal bezel. The mother of pearl is a creamy white with iridescent hues of pinks and blues. Each piece is inlaid with three bands of stark black onyx, giving them an eye-catching striped look. A gold frame holds each piece of mother of pearl in place, connected to a bar and hinged airplane back. The flat side of each gold airplane back along with the frame is stamped "14k". A wonderful and striking pair of vintage cufflinks, they would make a stylish addition to any collection!
Measurements: The mother of pearl face of each link measures 3/4" long and just over 1/2" wide. The bar connecting cufflinks to the backing are 1/2" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or mother of pearl or onyx inlay, which are secure and intact. Both stones are free of any noticeable chips or scratches. The hinged airplane backs are in proper working order.
