A fantastic set of snake wrap bracelets from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in gold fill, each snake is encrusted with garnet stones, which are held in place by talon-settings. The tail and head of each snake is decorated with intricate etchings, which give life to the serpents! One of the snake bracelets features pearl eye, and the other has eyes which are represented by circular pieces of green glass. The wrap bracelets are able to be expanded to fit most wrists, and are both comfortable and lightweight! A truly marvelous pair, these bracelets would make a perfect gift for any serpent lover!
Measurements: Each bracelet has a diameter of approximately 1 7/8" and is 1 3/4" tall, although the pieces are expandable.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is very good. There is no apparent damage to the gold filled setting. All of the garnet, pearls, and green glass details are secure and intact.
