Victorian 18k Banded Agate Etruscan Pendant Necklace

A magnificent banded agate pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 18kt yellow gold, the pendant is oval in shape and hangs from a thick braided 14k chain. A wonderful banded agate stone rests in the center of a marvelous bezel setting which has an intricately detailed Etruscan wirework pattern. The piece hangs from a large free-moving fluted bail with more Etruscan designs. This eye catching piece has a fabulous look that would make a perfect addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2" long, 1 1/8" wide, and 1/2" thick. The chain is approximately 17" long and 5mm thick

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the banded agate stone, which is intact. The bail is intact and in good condition, as is the 14k gold chain and clasp.
