A beautiful gold watch chain from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 15k gold, this extra long rope chain features six interspersed barrel shaped links. The links are centrally decorated with small bead set pearls, which create a wonderful contrast to the yellow gold of the chain. The barrel shaped links also feature two stripes of black enamel work. At the center of the chain is a gold watch swivel clasp, which makes it easy to hang a complementary pendant if desired. A very versatile piece, it would make a lovely addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The chain measures 50" long, with the watch swivel clasp hanging 3/4" long at the center.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold chain or to any of the pearls. There is no apparent damage to the enamel work and the watch swivel clasp is secure and intact.
