Victorian 14k/Sterling Silver Diamond Crescent Pendant Necklace

A beautiful diamond crescent moon necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold topped in sterling silver, seven rose cut diamonds adorn the surface of the crescent moon pendant in bead settings. The necklace hangs on a sterling silver chain accented with a single old mine cut diamond in a milgrained bezel setting. The necklace is secured on by a lobster clasp stamped with "925 ITALY". This celestial piece is simply stunning in person and would look wonderful worn at any time of day. It would make a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 17" long. The crescent pendant has a 1/2" diameter and measures approximately 1/16" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling-topped gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact. The chain and spring ring clasp are secure and in good working condition. The chain and settings have a dark patina, which is standard for antique jewelry and adds to the overall authentic look of the piece.
