A gorgeous pair of diamond cluster earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These lovely studs are crafted in 14k yellow gold topped with sterling silver, creating a subtle two-tone appeal. Each earring displays a beautiful design comprised of a large central mine cut diamond surrounded by a halo composed of 8 mine cut diamonds on each stud.The total approximate weight of all of the diamonds is estimated at 0.30ctw. All of the stones are prong set in silver with foil backings and rest on scalloped 14k gold backings and posts. These absolutely stunning Victorian cluster earrings would make a very special addition to any antique jewelry collector's stash!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 1/3" in diameter and is a little more than 1/5" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling settings. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The earring posts and back are secure and in good working condition.
