A fabulous woven gold ball pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stylish piece is made of 14k yellow gold and has a three-dimensional woven spherical shape. The links which compose the woven sphere are adorned with multicolored stones, which display pink, blue, white, green, pearlesque, and opalescent hues. Additionally, each of the woven components is adorned with intricate etchings. A gold bail at the top allows it to move freely along the chain to which it is attached, and the necklace secures with a spring ring clasp. A special and very fashionable piece, it merges seamlessly into modern day fashion and would complement any ensemble!
Measurements: The ball pendant hangs 3/8" long and has a diameter of slightly more than 3/8". The chain is 18" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or stones, all of which are secure and intact. The spring ring clasp and bail are both secure and in working order.
