A stunning Art Deco era (ca 1926) solitaire Gypsy ring by famed maker TIFFANY & Co.! The ring is crafted in bright 14k yellow gold and is set with one large oval faceted amethyst in a bezel setting. We estimate the amethyst stone to weigh approximately 2.50ct and it displays a gorgeous deep purple hue and an irregular pattern of facets. The interior of the ring is marked TIFFANY + CO, as well as a 14k purity mark. You'll also find the original owner's name in script inscribed on the shank of the ring with their graduation year, "Ruth B. Kistler '26", leading us to believe this was a class ring. The ring is a very bold in appearance, yet minimal in style. A signature design, this Tiffany + Co. ring would make a fabulous addition to any collection.
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 4 1/4 and can be resized. The band measures approximately 13mm at the head and tapers to 3.50mm at the shank.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. The amethyst is secure in its setting and has been lightly polished.
