A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful ring holds a stunning transitional cut diamond at the center of an elegant design. The stone, which has a total approximate weight of 1.13ct, rests within a classic 4-prong setting, exhibiting L color and I1 clarity, sparkling beautifully with every turn. Gorgeous tapered baguette diamonds adorn each shoulder of the mounting. Completing the design are delicate airline cutouts below the mounting, with a smoothly polished band that wraps around the back and stamped inside of the shank is a "IRID 10% PLAT" purity mark. When worn, the ring is positively radiant, delivering a spectacular sparkle, and the piece would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but could easily be resized. The center stone rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
