A wonderful gold charm from the Retro (ca1940s) era! This unusual and collectable piece is crafted in 14k yellow gold and portrays a convertible! The surface of the vehicle is smooth, and the piece features intricate etchings on the hood and back of the car. Additionally, the pendant/charm features dark green enameling, which represents the car's two seats. The convertible also features a three-dimensional steering wheel, and four wheels that are able to spin on the bottom of the car. Two small pieces of red glass, which represent tail lights, are located on the back of the vehicle. The back bumper of the piece features a complementary bail, and the underside of the pendant/charm features a "14K" purity mark. A magnificent and darling piece, this pendant/charm would be a fabulous addition to a favorite chain or charm bracelet!
Measurements: The charm measures 1 1/4" long and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the enamelwork is intact and free of any chips. The red glass details are intact and free of any damage. The complementary bail is intact and in working order.
