Claddagh jewelry has become a widespread tradition that represents Irish history, patriotism, and culture. Depending on the direction the Claddagh faces and the hand on which it is worn, the ring is also said to symbolize the wearer's relationship or marital status, though the choice to do so is individual and not always observed.
This beautiful Retro ring is a wonderful example of Irish Claddagh jewelry! The ring features three interlocked bands, which are crafted in 14k yellow gold. When the rings are aligned, the piece's two small hands meet in a handshake. When the bands are separated, a small heart is revealed. Measurements: The ring has an extra large finger size 5, but could be adjusted up or down if necessary. The Claddagh centerpiece measures approximately 3/8" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting. There is a slight patina on the surface of the gold, which is normal but could be polished for a brighter look if desired.
