A gorgeous ruby and diamond ring from the late Victorian era (ca1900s)! Crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold, the oval-shaped surface of this dainty ring is encrusted with gorgeous rubies and diamonds. The centermost section of the ring features an oval-cut ruby, which displays a lovely reddish-pink hue and is held within a bead-setting. The right and left corner of the centerpiece each feature additional round-cut rubies, which are also held in place by bead-settings. The remaining space of the centerpiece is encrusted with 4 small diamonds, which are also bead-set. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a small crown hallmark, and "18" purity mark, and one illegible maker's mark. A fantastic piece, this ring would be perfect for everyday wear, and would look stunning paired with a Victorian-era engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a size 6, but could be easily re-sized. The tapered band measures 1.95mm wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the rubies and diamonds are secure and intact.
