A fabulous watch chain necklace from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this chain is comprised of filed curb links, making a simple design to catch the light. A curling watch toggle bar and a large spring-ring (one marked "14k") hang at the center, ready to carry a favorite pendant. The necklace secures with a watch clasps and a large spring-ring clasp. The toggle bar has a plaque stamped with an eye, "14k", and "A.F.", which stands for Alland & Finkel. A similar plaque is attached to the chain chain near the watch clasp, which is stamped 14k. Simple and stylish, this chain necklace would be a wonderful addition to a Victorian collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 21” in length. The toggle bar measures 1 3/4" long.
Condition: The necklace is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the clasps are secure and in good working condition.
