A breathtaking emerald and diamond ring from the Georgian (ca1750s)! Crafted in 14k gold and sterling silver, this stunning ring features an exquisite approximately 0.75ct oval step cut emerald, which is held within a bezel setting. The central stone is bordered by 9 rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.80ctw. The diamonds rest in scalloped bead settings, and form a halo centerpiece. The contrast between the vivid green emerald and the sparkling diamond border is simply spectacular! The gold band is smooth and has cathedral-style shoulders where the band meets the center. A truly magnificent ring, it makes a stunning statement when worn. It would make an exceptional piece for special occasions, or a very special gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be re-sized if desired. The ring's emerald and diamond centerpiece measure approximately 5/8" wide and 5/8" tall. The ring has a depth of a little under 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling silver setting, or to the emerald and diamond stones, all of which are intact.
