A stunning ruby and diamond pendant from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in platinum, this rectangular-shaped pendant features a central 1.25ct round cut ruby, which is held within a milgrained bezel-setting. The ruby is wonderfully faceted and displays a deep red hue. The pendant also features intricate filigree detailing, which includes scrolling and arch-motifs. The surface of the pendant is also encrusted with 1.25ctw of mine cut diamonds, all of which are held within bead-settings. The top of the pendant features a sleek and simple platinum bail, which would allow the piece to attach to a favorite chain. A marvelous piece, this pedant would be the perfect gift for any Art Deco jewelry enthusiast!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 3/4" long (including the bail), is slightly less than 1" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the stones are secure and intact. The complementary bail is intact and in working order.
