A simply stunning pair of diamond drop earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This classic design is crafted in vibrant platinum gold with two diamonds that are bezel set and connected by small jump rings dangling just off the ears. The approximately weight of both earrings is 5.00ctw+. The top stone on each earring is a old brilliant cushion cut diamond with both stones weighing .60ct each, connected by a second larger diamond weighing approximately 2.00ct each on both earrings. The four stones have estimated range of color of J/L and VS-SI range in clarity. Completing the design is a platinum lever back hinge which provides additional security when worn. The earrings were appraised by an independent gemologist in June 2023 and have an estimated retail replacement value of $35,000.00. A wonderful example of Edwardian era diamond jewelry, these earrings are simply breathtaking and would make beautiful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1.58” long
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all four diamonds are intact. The lever back wire tops are secure and in good working condition.
