Edwardian 14k Mexican Jelly Opal and Diamond Ring

A wonderful Mexcian opal ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era. The ring, which is crafted in 14k gold, features a large opal cabochon surrounded by twenty-one rose cut diamonds. The opal cabochon has a wonderful warm orange tone, which contrasts wonderfully with the sparkling diamond halo. Completing the ring is a smooth gold band stamped "14K" inside. A very fun and eye-catching vintage piece, this beautiful ring would make a unique addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8.25, but could easily be resized up or down if desired. The opal has a 1/4" diameter and rests nearly 1/8" high above the band.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or the Mexican opal stone or diamonds, all of which are intact and secure in their setting.
