An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this beautiful piece has a lovely "step-up" style mounting with three rows of diamonds on each shoulder and a gorgeous old European Cushion Cut diamond in the center. The center diamond is prong set within a box setting and weighs 2.16 ct with J color and SI2 clarity. Resting on the "steps" of each shoulder of the ring are 12 old Mine Cut and Single Cut diamonds in a bead setting, which accent the center stone perfectly. These smaller diamonds weigh approximately 0.35ctw with H-K range color and VS-SI1 range clarity. The side of the mounting displays an attractive airline, and delicate engraved detail completes the beautiful Art Deco design. Grading Report (#2235344298) issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), giving a full evaluation of the center diamond. When worn, the ring is positively radiant, delivering a spectacular sparkle. It's a truly gorgeous and classically beautiful piece that would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
