BAILEY BANKS & BIDDLE Victorian 14k Turquoise Ring

An absolutely gorgeous turquoise ring from the Victorian (ca1890) era! The ring, which is made of 14kt yellow gold, is by legendary maker Bailey, Banks & Biddle and has a stunning turquoise set within the center. The stone, which is rectangular in shape, has luscious, vibrant blue color and is bezel set within the mounting, which is detailed with a checkerboard design wrapping around the airline. The gold mounting is flanked on each shoulder by scrolling designs that continue into the ridged, polished band. The striking combination of colors is absolutely wonderful and the ring looks beautiful when worn. The shank is stamped "14K" and "BBB" and has an engraving from the original owner. It's a lovely ring and would make a perfect addition to any collection! 

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7 but could easily be re-sized. 

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the turquoise stone, which is intact and securely set.
