A lovely opal and diamond filigree ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! Crafted in platinum, the ring holds a central, beautiful crystal opal cabochon, which is held within a bezel setting. The striking opal displays beautiful blue and green flashes, and has a carat weight of approximately 1.50ct. The opal is accented on both sides by two mine cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of 2.20ctw. The diamonds display H/I color and SI2-I1 clarity. The large centerpiece also features 6 single cut diamonds, which are held within bead settings. The centerpiece also features intricate filigree and cutout designs, which add to the overall appeal of the piece. The band of the ring also features filigree work and floral motif etchings, which carry approximately 2/3 around the length of the band. The inside of the shank is stamped "5% IRID PLATINUM". This wonderful Art Nouveau ring would look wonderful worn on special occasions, or could make a beautiful gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8.75, but could easily be resized. The band measures 1.75mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The opal and the diamonds are intact and securely set.
