Art Nouveau 14k Mexican Jelly Opal Festoon Necklace

An exquisite opal link necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! This stunning piece is made of 14k gold and is accented with 6 gorgeous Mexican jelly opals, which vary in size. The stones graduate in size towards the centerpiece, which features another small dangling stone. The opals are held in open-backed bezel settings, which dangle freely from the chain. A spring ring clasp secures the necklace at the back. It’s an absolutely magnificent opal necklace and is certainly a must have for any Art Deco collector!

Measurements: The necklace measures 18 1/2" long. The largest opal link hangs just over 1/2" long and the smallest opal link measures 1/4".

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the opal links or to the gold setting or chain. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
