A gorgeous pair of enameled silver earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Each of these stunning earrings is crafted in sterling silver and has a wonderful Egyptian revival hanging urn motif. The three urns have a puffed 3-dimensional appearance with intricate blue and black enamel detailing and hang from a hinged frame. Affixed to the tip of each urn is a bezel set turquoise cabochon, with an additional two turquoise stone separating the earring's dangling links. The frame from which the urns hang features more blue and black enameling with a scrolling filigree topper. Attached to the topper is a turquoise and enamel surmount with a silver ear wire, which is stamped with French hallmarks. A beautiful example of Art Deco Egyptian revival jewelry, this amazing pair of earrings would be a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/2" long (including the wire surmounts), measure 5/8" across at the widest point, and are 3/8" at the thickest point.

Condition: The earrings are in very good antique condition. The earring wire surmounts are secure, and the hanging links are intact and securely attached. There is a natural patina on the surface of the gold, which is normal for a Victorian era piece and adds additional depth and beauty to the design. One of the tiny Etruscan beaded accents has been replaced, restoring the piece to its original condition.
