A breathtaking diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features a central 0.86ct old European cut diamond, which rests within a bead setting. The diamond displays I color and SI2 clarity. The shoulders of the ring each feature three single cut diamonds, which together, have an approximate total carat weight of .10ct. The smaller diamonds are also held within bead settings. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "68781" and "IRID PLAT". The inside of the shank also features a personalized engraving, which reads: "J.M.K to C.M.B 1937". The ring was independently appraised in January of 2025 by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certified appraiser. A wonderful ring, this piece would make a lovely engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75, but could be easily re-sized. The band measures 1.3mm wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
