A breathtaking diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in platinum, this gorgeous ring features a marvelous 1.73ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a four-prong setting. The stone displays H color and VS1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring each feature two marquise cut diamonds, which are held within milgrained bezel settings and have an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw. The shoulders are completed by two small single cut diamonds, which are bead-set, and have an approximate total carat weight of .05ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is marked "10% IRID PLAT.". A breathtaking ring, this piece would make a fabulous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6, but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
