A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this stunning ring has a unique mounting that holds a 0.70ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond rests in a square prong setting and has H/I color and VS2 clarity. Surrounding the center stone is a wonderful mounting, complete with a marquise cut diamond set in a milgrained bezel at each side, which is flanked by two additional single cut diamonds and surrounded by a cut-out frame. An additional bead set single cut diamond completes the shoulder accents and leads into the smoothly polished band, which tapers towards the back. The inside of the band is stamped "900 IRID" along with an indistinguishable maker's mark. A gorgeous Art Deco design, it would make a very special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6, but could be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to the diamond stone, which is intact.
