A wonderful coral bead necklace from the Art Deco era (ca1880s)! This simple and lovely design features one substantial strand of natural coral beads, which are hand strung on red thread and knotted in between. All of the beads are smoothly polished, displaying a wonderful range of rich natural shades. The double strands meet at a gold filigree flower clasp in the back. Due to the length of the necklace, the piece does not feature a clasp, but could easily be doubled or tripled. A beautiful natural piece, this everyday necklace adds a perfect pop of color and is perfect for the coral lover!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 70" long, including the clasp. Although the beads vary in exact size, each bead has a width of approximately 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the coral beads, all of which are intact and securely strung.
