A beautiful pair of carved jade earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold and platinum, these earrings feature a long, rectangular piece of jade. The jade is untreated, and feature intricate hand carvings, which incorporate floral and foliage motifs. The jade displays a lovely rich green color, and features milky white marbling. The earrings feature tent-shaped caps, which are decorated with delicate filigree work. The top of the earrings also include a half-circle surmount, which connects to the lever backs, which secure the earrings. The backside of the lever backs feature a "14K" purity mark. A truly marvelous pair of jade earrings, this piece would be perfect for any Art Deco jewelry enthusiast!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/2" in total length. The carved jade drops measure 1 3/4" long, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. The jade is intact and free of chips or damages. The earring wires are secure and in working order.
