Art Deco 14k Diamond, Emerald, and Sapphire Snake Wrap Bracelet

A very stylish snake bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 14k yellow, this wonderful piece has a 3-dimensional design represented by a double headed serpent, whose body coils around the wrist. A tightly braided chain body gives wonderful texture to the design and gives the illusion of scales running down the body. The heads of the snake on each end of the chain each feature a bezel set sapphire flanked by two full cut diamond with fabulous lines and engraved detail showcasing the eyes, which are set with small emeralds, and mouth. Stamped on the underside of each of the snake's heads is a "PD" hallmark along with "585. The bracelet has a flexible design that expands slightly when wrapped around the wrist, adjusting to the size of your wrist accordingly and eliminating the need for a clasp. A wonderful, this bracelet would be perfect for any snake lover and would make a striking everyday piece for the fashion conscious woman!

Measurement: The opening of the bracelet (where your wrist would rest) is slightly adjustable, with the smallest size measuring 2" in diameter. When stretched, the bracelet expands to approximately 2 1/2" in diameter. The widest point of the bracelet measures 1/4" wide at the snake head and 1/8" in the body.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the bracelet and the flexible design is very tight and secure and still retains its shape. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
