An exquisite opal and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a central opal cabochon held within a six-prong setting. The opal displays wonderful flashes of green, blue, red, and orange. The marvelous stone is surrounded by a dainty halo formed by six rose cut diamonds. All of the diamonds are held within four-prong settings. The shoulders of the ring feature a unique scrolling design, which further adds to the unique look of the piece! The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the ring is marked with an "A" and a small star, which indicates that the piece was created by Newark-based jewelry company, Allsop-Steller Inc.! A colorful piece, this ring would make a fantastic addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.25, but could easily be resized up or down as desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The center opal and diamond halo are both secure and intact.
