A stunning Vintage spoon set from circa 1958! Made by English silversmith William Suckling Ltd, this fabulous set consists of 6 demitasse spoons which have a floral enameled back of different designs and sterling bodies. Each flowery image is absolutely beautiful and the purple, pink, gold and green colors pop against the white enameled background. Each spoon is hallmarked along the back, indicating that they're from Birmingham, circa 1958 and made by William Suckling Ltd. The markings read "MADE IN ENGLAND", the authentic William Suckling Ltd. hallmark "S Ld", as well as an anchor and a lion. The set comes in their original velvet lined box which is marked "Made in England". A fabulous set, it would be a perfect addition for any collector!
Measurements: Each spoon measures approximately 3 3/4" tall, and 7/8" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling spoons or to the enameling, which remains in excellent condition. The box is also in excellent condition.
