Art Deco Russian Silver & Enamel Dome Ring

SKU: 38669

$395 $595
A wonderful enameled ring from the Art Deco era (ca1930)! This decorative ring is of Russian origin and is crafted in .875 gilded silver with a striking enameled motif. The dome-like centerpiece features applied wirework details, which separate the sections of multi-colored enamel in a pattern of swirls and scrolls. Included in the enamel design are rich shades of solid red, black and white, which have a glossy finish and bold appearance. Completing the design is a slim band, which is stamped with Russian hallmarks on the outside of the shank at the back, including small Russian characters and a star with the stamp "875." Quite an artistic piece, this fabulous Art Deco ring makes a stylish statement when worn!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.75, but could easily be re-sized up or down as desired. The enameled dome centerpiece has a 3/4" diameter and rests 1/2" high above the finger. The band is 2mm wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gilded silver setting or to the enamel and wirework motif, which is intact and free of chips or scratches. The gilded silver has a slight natural patina on the surface, which is normal and adds depth to the design.
