The Ceylon sapphire weighs 6.16ct exact weight and has a gorgeous blue color, which sparkles perfectly as its faceted surface catches the light. The mounting has diamond old full cuts underneath the stone as well as two old cut diamonds down the shoulder of the ring. The sapphire is set with 4 split prongs and has beautiful engraving underneath the stone and down the sides of the ring. When worn, the ring makes a spectacular statement. It would look exquisite worn on special occasions, or could make an extraordinary gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be resized up or down if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The sapphire stone and all of the accent diamonds are intact and securely set.
