Victorian Gold Filled Skeleton Key Locket

A lovely gold filled locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful piece is circular in shape and features a curious sterling skeleton key mounted on the front center surface. The back of the locket is completely smooth and the piece opens to reveal space inside to store two of your favorite photographs. At the top of the locket is a jump ring, making it easy to hang the locket from a chain. Inside the locket behind one of the crystals is a small maker's mark which reads "W&H Co" inside of a heart. It's a fabulous piece that would make a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The diameter of the locket measures 1 1/2". The bail opening measures just short of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold filled locket which opens easily and closes securely.
