A unique and striking pendant from the Late Victorian (ca1900s) era by famed maker Krementz! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, the pendant begins with a large enameled oval bail with lovely braided detail. An engraved bail, its backside marked with "14K" and the Krementz' double "J", carries a pattern of Rock Quartz Crystal and Onyx plaques. The carved ridged plaques are hinged, swinging with lovely motion. An elaborate gold cap hangs below, holding a fluted Rock Quartz Crystal teardrop pendant. This pendant has a fantastic bold look, and would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The Krementz Pendant measures approximately 3 3/8" in length and 15/16" at its widest point.
Condition: The pendant is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The enamel is fully intact. The Onyx and Rock Quartz Crystal plaques are all free of chips and scratches and are securely set. All of the hinges are secure and in excellent working condition.
