A fantastic sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The ring, which is made of platinum, holds a large round sapphire stone at its center. The sapphire stone, which is bezel set, weighs approximately 6.38ctw and has a gorgeous deep blue color and excellent clarity. The setting of the ring includes a bold filigree gallery, allowing lots of light to flow through the facets of the stone. The shoulders of the ring hold four rose cut diamonds on each side and the platinum band is smooth. This beautiful ring would make an exceptional addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25, however it can easily be re-sized. The sapphire stone measures 1/2" long and 1/2" wide. When worn, the ring rests a little less than 1/2" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the sapphire and diamonds are intact and securely set.
