An incredible diamond lorgnette chain from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This elegant platinum piece is comprised of ornate diamond-shaped links, which alternate with small sections of elongated link chain. In total, there are 10 diamond-shaped links, each one adorned with a single old European Cut diamond at the center. The sparkling stones rest in a hexagonal box setting, which is surrounded by elegant filigree wirework. The chain comes together at a large triangular shaped link, graced with a stunning Triangular Step Cut diamond in the center. Surrounding the stone is incredible diamond lined filigree wirework featuring fine airline cutouts. Resting at the end of the extension is a spring ring clasp, stamped with an "IRID PLAT" purity mark, perfect for hanging a complimentary pendant or locket. The necklace fastens at the back with a spring clasp stamped with a "14K" purity mark. This fabulous lorgnette chain would make a lovely addition to any collection!
