An exquisite Art Deco (ca1920) diamond engagement ring! Crafted in platinum, this gorgeous ring displays a breathtaking cushion cut brilliant cushion cut diamond. The glittering stone has a total weight of 1.39ctw with G color and VS2 clarity. It is set within a lovely 4 prong-accented bezel amidst a flower motif accented filigree mounting. The mounting is dotted with two full cut diamonds on each shoulder, flanking the center stone. There are two additional full cut diamonds at the center of each cartouche on the setting, with the cumulative weight of all the full cut diamonds estimated to be approximately 0.10ctw. The elegant filigree mounting tapers significantly from the shoulders down to the shank, with elegant feathered engraving down each side. The interior of the band has a "W" and another hallmark with two initials.. This ring is accompanied by an independent appraisal done by an accredited GIA GG gemologist that was done in August 2023 for a retail replacement of $19,500.00. This elegant and feminine design would make for an incredible engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring currently is a size 6.25 and could easily be resized. The band measures 7.3mm at widest and tapers down to 2mm at the base of the shank.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
