Both sides of the locket have a black enameled surface, with a rich, glossy finish. When opened, the interior reveals two spaces to store special photographs inside. The locket hangs from its original chain, which consists of complimentary black enameled links that alternate with sections of silver chain. The chain meets at a lorgnette style extension in the center, with a spring ring clasp at the end, making it simple to detach the locket when desired. At the back of the chain is a second spring ring clasp. This versatile necklace has a very striking look that merges effortlessly into modern day fashion, and is perfect for everyday wear!

Measurements: The locket measures 1 3/8" in diameter, and is 1/4" thick. The chain measures 25" long, with a 2" lorgnette extension chain at the center. The locket hangs 3 1/2" at the middle.

Condition: The overall condition of both the locket and chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or black enameled surface, which is excellent condition. The locket opens easily and fastens shut securely. The clasps on the chain are both secure and in good working condition.
