An exquisite pair of star-motif earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k, each earring begins with an oval-shaped surmount. The surmount's surface is decorated with deep blue enameling, and features a central mine cut diamond, which is held within a bead-setting and bordered by a star-motif. The bottom of each earring features a three-dimensional circular ball, which is also decorated with blue enameling and a bead-set mine cut diamond surrounded by a star-motif. Together, the mine cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2.00ctw and displays G/H color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A fabulous pair, these earring would be perfect for any special occasion!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/8" long and has a width (at the widest point) of just under 5/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface war, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. There is no damage to the enameling, and the earring wires are secure and intact.
