Victorian Sterling/14kt Ruby + Diamond Link Bracelet with Floral Motif
An absolutely stunning ruby and diamond bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold topped in sterling silver, this fabulous piece adorns sparkling diamonds and vibrant rubies and features 18 ornate flowing links. All of the links display open wirework, carrying two different alternating shapes, round and rectangular. The larger, rectangular links each adorn a lovely five petal flower which is accented by six old Rose Cut diamonds. The round links feature an alternating design of sparkling diamonds and luscious rubies which are all bezel set and surrounded by an open frame. The links seamlessly connect at fine hinges and the bracelet fastens at a secure clasp which is incorporated into the design. Additionally, there is a hinged safety latch and clasped safety chain for added security. The beautiful design of the piece is feminine yet bold and displays fantastic craftsmanship. This gorgeous bracelet looks wonderful when worn and would make an outstanding addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 6.75" long, is 1/4" at the widest point and approximately 1/8" at the thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling and gold setting or to any of the ruby and diamond stones, all of which are intact. The bracelet clasp and safety's are secure and in good working condition.
