Victorian 14kt Pavé Persian Turquoise Domed Ring
A magnificent turquoise ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this beautiful piece has a domed face, which is particularly large in size, covering the entire finger when worn. A wonderful design of pavé (French for "pavement") set Persian turquoise stones of graduating size create a convex shaped design of the natural stones, each exhibiting fantastic shades of sky blue. The stunning centerpiece rests on a wide, smoothly polished graduating band which has a rounded curve accenting each shoulder and is stamped "14K" along the back. This eye catching piece looks outstanding when worn and would make a very special addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size 6 but could be re-sized. The turquoise centerpiece measures approximately 7/8" wide and 3/4" tall. When worn, the ring sits approximately 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the turquoise stones, all of which are intact. There is a possibility that a couple of the stones have been replaced based on their coloring, however it is not noticeable when worn.
