Late Victorian English 9kt Moonstone Ring
A beautiful moonstone ring from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This 9kt rosy gold piece adorns a gorgeous oval cabochon moonstone at its center. Graduating slightly in shape at one end, the bezel-set moonstone displays an alluring translucent quality with soft flashes of light blue that catch in the light. The wide, split shank shoulders merge seamlessly into a smoothly polished band, and "9KT" is stamped inside the shank (indicating English origin). A simple yet stunning piece, it is perfect for everyday wear and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall and 1/4" wide and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting and only minimal abrasion to the surface of the moonstone, which is intact and securely set.
