Late Victorian 14kt Diamond 4-Leaf Clover Locket 0.15ctw
An absolutely gorgeous locket from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This fabulous piece, which is round in shape, is crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold and adorns an applied 4-leaf clover motif on the front. The clover is crafted in yellow gold to create a very subtle two-tone appeal, and gracing the center of each leaf is a sparkling Round Cut diamond. The four beautiful stones collectively weigh approximately 0.15ctw, catching the light brilliantly with every turn. The locket is hinged on the side and opens to reveal two spaces, one under a clear celluloid covering, to hold a favorite photograph or keepsake item. The interior of each side features a delicate twisted rope border, and stamped near one edge is "FHS CC PAT." The entire piece displays a fabulous smoothly polished finish that beautifully reflects the light, and resting at the top is a simple bail, perfect for hanging from a favorite chain. This exceptional locket is a beautiful piece and would be perfect addition to any Victorian collection!
