Edwardian 14kt Sapphire Stud Earrings 1.00ctw
A stunning pair of sapphire studs from the Edwardian era (ca1910)! Each earring holds a sparkling sapphire at the center of a decorative 14kt white gold setting. The prong-set sapphires weigh approximately .50ct each (1.00ctw combined) and exhibit a gorgeous vibrant blue hue that catches the light beautifully with every turn. Each stone is surrounded by a delicate airline cutout, making them appear to "float" within their octagonal-shaped frames. A lovely etched design and fine milgrain details embellish each frame, and the original screw-back post rests on the back of each earring. The delicate and feminine design makes these earrings a perfect everyday choice that is also suitable for special occasions!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 3/8" in diameter and are about 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The sapphires are intact and securely set. The screw-back posts are secure and in good working order.
