Edwardian 14kt/Platinum Diamond + Carved Onyx Link Bracelet 4ctw
A stunning diamond and onyx link bracelet from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This incredible 14kt rose gold bracelet is comprised of carved onyx links, which wrap around the entire length of the piece, forming a straight but flexible design. The seven links resting at the front graduate in size, each embellished with a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond that is bezel-set in platinum. The diamonds weigh 4ctw collectively, and exhibit H-I color range and VS2-SI1 range clarity, catching the light beautifully with every turn. The remaining onyx links are square in shape, boasting a 3-dimensional pyramidal surface with wonderful facets that add to the bracelet's light catching effect. Every link is set in a smoothly polished rose gold bezel featuring a milgrained edge, a perfect background to hold the rich, black stones. The links are attached together with a pin hinge and connector rings, providing a flexible and comfortable design. A hidden push clasp is seamlessly incorporated into the final link, which is stamped "14J" on the back. A gold safety chain at the side provides additional security. This stunning bracelet blends perfectly into modern day fashion, and makes an incredible statement piece when worn!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7" long. The largest onyx link at the center measures a little less than 1/2" wide and tall, and is about 1/4" thick. The smallest onyx link measures a little over 1/4" wide and tall and is about 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the rose gold and platinum setting. The diamonds and carved onyx stones are all intact and securely set. There is a very minor chip at the tip of one of the pyramidal shaped onyx stones, which is not noticeable when worn. The push clasp and safety chain are both secure and in good working condition.
