ASPREY Vintage 9kt Gold Double-Sided Cufflinks in Original Box
Gorgeous double-sided Vintage cufflinks by the Ramsden and Roed Company for Asprey, Jewelers to the Crown! From circa 1988, these wonderful cufflinks are crafted in 9kt yellow gold and display an elongated octagonal face on each side, connected by a matching gold chain. One face has a smoothly polished surface while the other displays a wonderful diamond-shaped texture, and both sides are framed by a bold grooved border. The underside of the cufflinks have several English marks including the "Asprey" hallmark, a crown, an anchor, indicating that they were assayed in Birmingham, "375," and the date letter "O" which corresponds to the year 1988. Additionally, the links are stamped with "R&P", "4", a crown hallmark, "375", and a faint "20-485". The cufflinks are accompanied by their original red box and together, the classic set would look fabulous worn by a man or woman!
Measurements: Each octagonal link on the cufflinks measures nearly 11/16" tall by slightly more than 7/16" tall and are 1mm thick. The connecting chains measure nearly 13/16" long.Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The original box is in very good vintage condition and has a blue ink mark on the inside that does not negatively impact its use or beauty.
