Arts & Crafts Silver Moonstone Floral Link Bracelet
A wonderful moonstone bracelet from the Arts & Crafts (ca1910s) era! Crafted in silver, this lovely piece is comprised of seven round links which each adorn a single moonstone cabochon set in its center. The alluring moonstones are encircled by a sweeping floral motif, two sets each comprised of a single petal and two pistons gently intertwined. The translucent stones have a clear blue color and a soft flash that can be seen with every turn. Double loop connectors fasten the links together, forming a straight but flexible bracelet that wraps comfortably around the wrist when worn. The bracelet closes with a rectangular push clasp marked "SILVER" and is further secured by a safety chain. This stylish piece would make a perfect everyday accessory and a lovely addition to any Arts & Crafts collection.
Measurements: The bracelet measure approximately 7 1/2" long and a little more than 5/8" wide. Each sterling link measures 1/2" by nearly 7/8" including the rings to which the double loops connect. The moonstones measure approximately 6mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to the moonstone cabochons, all of which are intact. The clasp fastens securely and in good working condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver setting, which is normal for vintage jewelry and adds to its beauty and unique character.
